Lady Plyant Character study

Name; Lady Plyant

Age;  26 (researched the age that people were likely to die would be 35-45) – There by placing the character lady plyant the age of 25 of that day of age she would be in the mind-set of the present day 40 years.

Year; The play is based in 1963

Place; Just on the outer of London, so Ladies and Lords are able to accuse all the parties.
The house witch Ladies and Lords would stay in …
Garden….                                                                    Inside hall witch most scene would take place …

However Lady plyant wouldn’t always be around this kind of environment, she would also be walking around the streets of London that would be filled of tradesmen and common poor people; that would help her high states.

17th century streets of London would look like this.

This painting will show the day to day when not I the house that Lady plyant would be around to show her highest states; and would use to her advantage, when with male company to show here body and beauty as she can afford all the makeup and clothes.
Personality;  Lady Playnt is very bold and flambéing  (referent to week 3 blog Head teacher), easy to any pretender ( very fake towards people); however if to go literal Plyant the name means very flexible and easy, therefore if to betray this it would be it doesn’t take much for me to bend to over, the way they would like me too. However I am insolent towards my husband. Very self-centre and only cares how things will affect me.
Relationship with Characters;
Sir Paul Plyant – Husband to Lady Plyant, however do not feel any affection towards him, therefore my relationship towards him is only for his money, and only disappear it because he does not has a son to give it to, therefore it means Lady Plyant will get it, as he is in old age being in his thirties, means Im ling my second husband up.
Cynthia – Sir Paul Plyant daughter therefore she is my step daughter; but I forever forget she is there and push her out by not listening and putting her down.

Mellfront -  He is promised to Cynthia, however I would lie him to myself and would love him to show affection to me shown in page 23 to 24, when ask him to ask me, this is kept secret in my half, as I wish to brake the match of them.

Careless – Also another person that Lady Plyant wishes to have affection , this is cleared to Sir Paul but him being a drunken mess, doesn't really pick up in Lady Plyant be a dishonourable.

Maskwell - The double dealer in the play, how even even thigh there is no straight relationship to I, he is Messing around to Lady touchwood, and want to marry Cynthia so they want to break the match just like I.

Lord Touchwood- The uncle to Mellefont, therefore our families will be join after the marriage. Also Husband of Lady Touchwood, also he is the Brother in law to Sir Paul.

Lord Froth - A friend of Sir Paul and husband to a “friend” of lady Plyants called Lady Froth, that tends to advise Cynthia a lot.

Brisk - Only ever in one scene with him, however he is consider a pert coxcomb therefore i don’t really hold a conversation with him.

Lady Touch- Meant to be on of my close friends however i feel like this is an act due to the fact they are never in a scene together, sister to Sir Paul, therefore the is relationship in the marriage, I think of her to be very touchy with the mean and don't trust a word she says, also she is married to Lord Touchwood but is in Love with Mellefont and want the Marriage not to go a head.

Lady Froth - I found her annoying due to the fact she believes to be very artistic and believes she is a head in the world and better then any on walking, as a secret love for Brisk. Also around due to the fact she is close to Cythnia.

How to play Lady Plyant  - Characteristic

Plyant is a words that describes my character a lot due to the fact she is very easy and bends to what every she want; even though this is a key factor in the character she is also smart as she is educated compeer to others in the play, thats why she can be very sly.

Lady Plyant accent, is very posh english of the time as its the time just after Shakespeare therefore the language  is be developed during the time of the play, is very important to hit the hard plate on the ’t’s example, so articulation is key with the accent.

Lady Plyant I have discussed in a preference blog.

So you don’t have keep going back to this blog, if any character update i will put this n a blog (additional character update) so that you know.
