Language of the Fan

In 17th century the langueage of the fan was seen very popular as they were used in real life by scoity of England, therefore theatre used this as adventage and used it on stage. This bought comdey for the women as it was consider a screact language at the time. This was then used in the 17th century as centre as communicated the equivalent to 21st century centre texting.

The fan placed near the heart	“you have won my love”

 Here are some of the exapmle how i will aplly the language to my perfromance;

• Scene that are with Sir Pual, I would use my fan to show I am married therefore the action that I would use be Fanning slowly, I would also do this when in a scene with Cyanthin so that she dont ecpect anything.
• I would use the fan action "the fan placed near the heart" would be key to use for the scene wirth careless to show much he has gained upon me.
• However when with Mellofont due to the fact I want him to take there and then the action i would use is "handel of the fan to my lips"

Thoese are only a few action that would use, this is going to take a lot of rehearsing as Iwill have to signel to other male how i feel for them behind Sir Paul; as most of my scene Sir Palu tends to enter. Therefore action would have to change quickly back "I'm married." If you are to realate to do scoity it can be used in poker when they do eye sginels.

This reserach relates back to make up reserach done in pervously blog; this is poem writen by Jothana swiff called a beautiful youth nymph going to bed, the poem is about a younge women that who is going through to get the look of the fashion, this opened my eyes with how much  tenstion my cahracter would be holding, as being weathly she would ahve all the comstics of the date therefore she would be in pain to keep up with fastion.
