Week 2 GREEK

So week two has hit of Greek and time is passing by so fast again but this week we worked on the main themes of the play, the main one we looked Otto this week was forgiveness by looking it this I notice I don't forgive that easy we did this b discussing about the different explames what we sheared with our parteners.

On Wednesday we we did a workshop with Alex I found it really useful as we looked how we found interpret the chourse within different ways I found this really instating as we looked how adding movement that retaliated to the word 'see'. The whole group pretend that we where looking out for something by placing our hand on to our forward. We then looked at text within a different group so and moved round the different dynamics such a whisper - this would add the feeling of horror and creepy as if something bad was going to happen this is one of the tings we looked at after we add it all together.

In the group I came up with the actions to how we betrayed the words suck as 'kill her and be done with it' this was when the person behind pretend to sligh the person in front throat also that when we say our lines we should come out of the group this was so that we would stand out more when speaking our line.

Staging was a main topic we looked at as a hole and done the balancing a game which helped the understanding how some staging worked, this was called the plate, after the groups was given a chours speech and had to decide on how we wanted are staging , my group came up with the idea of musical chairs and the audience in cruicl round the out side we found this worked really well as it Perdue the atmosphere we where hoping to give which was the we were going into there personal space.

This is only a few things that was done on week two I hope to get the videos up soon after envying is fixed sorry please bear with me.

VIDEO coming soon so sorry about this issue.

  1. BLOGS 1 AND 2
A very good first and second entry- explain why you chose the material and the poses your chose with reference to research about Helen of Troy. Some good detail and good use of images. You provide examples of your input into the chorus work- expand to explain the role of the chorus in our version further. MERIT. Use the term ‘Greek Tragedy’ not just Greek as its ambiguous.
