Week 1 GREEK

This week was the first week we finally started looking more into Greek, the first day we started looking more into the Greek which I found really instresting as we learnt more about how the lifestyle is and how they would use the theatre to get politics across.

Movement : we worked on the bath secen the chourse people split into two groups we we're give the words 'twitching' and 'overlap' so my idea that we then used when showed back to the rest of the group; was that we tents are muscle in our arms this was to give the effect that we were twitching, this is some times call as tutting in street dance , enough idea of mine was that we should overlap  repeat each other with the movement around with the then calliopes over one of each other.

For the rest of the week and Wednesday we looked more into detail with the characters we were given we did this by a simple group excise of deciding in how are they would stand so we picked a pose and  what martial they would be made out of so mine is Helen who is a Demi god so the group and I decid on marble.

Thursday we looked into two different sence one being where I worked with in the chorus and helped come up with ideas in when the chourse should leave, now in have time to think about he sence I feel that maybe some of the chourse should already be on stage around tyndareous on each side of the box so the main 3 , then on a word lay down out words  so it gives the effect the box has opened meaning that his mind as open to my feeling and anger.

We then looked at my sence this was a lot harder then what I would though it would be, as I had to be kinda of a sligh bitch and big head this is a character I have never played before with power with in my voice to make Electra fear me. This will be more explained in my video.

VIDEO : come soon in YouTube have technical promblems.

This pose one the main image in Helen of her showing that she in important and vain and the hair touching shows that she is meant to be beautiful.

This pose two this is meant to show the same but in a bigger actions so that it hits the back of the theatre, I felt that having the wide arms gave Helen power.
