Reflect week on the Greek

So before we even started the Greeks we did a lot of research before we got give the parts we would to be playing so we looked into the history of Greek and the different types do Greek play such as comedy and tragedy the I learnt that this was used to have a look into Greek policies to see that if the things they where doing back in the BC was correct , this was also used to get the whole town to talk about the issue created in the play but not everyone had their the same view. As the chorus would be there changing their point of views.

Also that the chorus was there to stand for a person in look into a issue.

So over the last 6/7 weeks we have been working on how we could show the chorus on the 2nd week of BETC of drama the class split it to group and give a text were we relaid it back but as one my ideas for this was to have each person saying a line then we pick a word form the line what I/we wanted to sick out like sore thumb, but as we only had 20 , minutes and the rest of the group have never looked at Greek before I found my self getting annoyed and found this was issue as we where shouting over each other and we where not getting any where so in the end we decide that on words which as one we picked out we would look one way this idea was created by me and enough member in the group , this was one of the Greek workshop we did.

So even though I had never looked at the script it was time to go in to class and show what I could do we did this through a casting class so at fist I play eltrac for blood and light this was hard as it was the pint where she killed her father and she still wanted him to be there I came up with in a two that I should walk towards and drop on a word in a text 'father' .

Then I worked on the mother, I won't try with the name as I will probably get it work but it starts with a C , I played her with power in the voice but not to mush as she need fear as her sound is crazy and about to kill her, so even though I like this character it just didn't seem correct so I got a chance to Helen I then play with a a power in my voice but bow that this is my set character I feel that Helen should be up right .

This so only a few things that took part during the lead to Greek theatre.
