Week before show week RESTORATION Blog and Show week
WEEK BEFORE SHOW WEEK !!
This week has be the week before we take to the stage and open to the public, so it's been the first week that we have been without scripts on stage, the forego found this really bought comedy to it, as people knew there lines so there was past and dynamic with the emotions. Scene as example of God posture and good direction for me would be the fist scene ... Here a picture to show you....

LINK ABOVE VIDEO OF REHEARSAL
I've upload a video in which i though that a scene went well as I and joe had rehearsed the scene everyday so that we can bring the comedy , how ever I will need to go over the lines due to I still needs some promting on two - I found this was because when actually doing the scene I look out for a clue to mine line however this scene there is no clue leading on to what I say next , however to over come this is found myself doing a que count and a patterned or song in my head to rememeber. I think the more practice that I have the more it will come into place as I will use muscle memoir.
SHOW WEEK !!!!
so this week could have gone better if you ask me personally for my side of things, i found this was because people didn't know their ques in scene, therefore lines were being missed, leaving people to improvise during scene. The improvisations were not the worse however it didn't help when people need a certain que to come on stage.
example I found where there was quite a lot of Improvisations would be the scene of Zach, Alicia and I, as there was a line that was missed the whole scene went down from there, meaning the story got lost due to mistake being made like this it actually meant that a direction was then made to change the show to workshop scene. Even though it was negative note to end the years on just scene and I reckon the audience got more of an understanding and more laughs this way which made it seem positive.
However i found with my vocal work had been poor during rehearsals due to not take control of my own warm up and just jumping straight on stage meaning that my body was not ready to perform, however this was changed with an ease as i simple just carried on doing restorern and facial work between my scene that bought my articulation to do a better level and long with diction, this help me have more confident and perform.
ADDITIONAL RESEARCH STAGE !!!
During the 16th an d17th century this is when the proscenium arch was introduced along with removable set(set change) , this was introduced by inigo jones. Inigo Jones, was inspired to introduced those to english theatres from when he use to travel in France and Italy, however as we are all swear the civil war broke out coursing theatres to close due to Charles I.
Shortly after when Charles II took throne, theatres reopened, as Charles II was known as a party animal, theatre on stage became very flambéing as were became to take to the stage and it was scene to go to the theatre to party and have fun by being loud and get involve so if compeer todays theatre it would be panto as that is a lot of getting involved. This was known for Restoration, as Charles II took throne in 1660 theatres reopened still with the arch (help with acoustics), scenery changing throughout the show, he also open theatres to the public again meaning people went crazy and saw it as on big party.
Also during restoration time theatres became semi-operas would help to bring the atmosphere to the show, as they would sing, play music or play special affect now we do this be SFX, that we take for granted. So when restoration was first introduce on stage it was shown to the public with theme such as a plain comedy and tragedy , leaving out the drama to make it less complex.
So If you was to see the double dealer back when first put on to stage, it would be very different with themes as tragedy and comedy as it would be more over the top, by the theme with lust as the women atcors were already seen bad upon by taking to the stage, they saw no point in holding back and going out there so they would have had corsets on show and ankles, this was down to helps show the audience in that was take place, also the audience would react to this by screaming out and the men thinking hot, by shutting , so back in the 17th century the theatre was twice as loud. Due to this the actors would stop and wait for the audience to calm down till they would wait to carry on their lines.
Where in today society theatre is seen more of a place where people go to watch back and enjoy the performance and it is now conceder rude if people talk during a performance now a days also over the last few years theatre has been come more politics built, then just for fun.
